Had a great Jubilee weekend here at the wheatsheaf. A great friendly atmosphere with a nice crowd of people. The staff behind the bar actually seemed to enjoy working there which can be hard to find in some if the other bars in town, on one of the evenings they'd dressed up as they had a come as a queen night, even freddy mercury was there!!
A good selection of ales available, five or six were on offer, and very reasonably priced. Food was also good. Only negative is that the interior could do with some updating.
We'll be back.

They serve Courvoisier in a half pint pot -wouldn't mind if it was full. Had to drink Brandy as the beer selection was shite.

Great selection of Marstons beers, very well kept. Fun atomsphere with very friendly staff. Management extremely helpful. Kitchen open till 9, very good, reasonably priced pub food. Nice selection of Specials. We popped in for the quiz night on a Wednesday, will definately become regulars! FREE quiz and FREE food ! Keep up the good work guys, nice to see a pub in Sandbach with some heart x

Ales are generally well kept and some guest beers. Some lager is on special from time to time. Can get busy but that may be down to the price. Food can be variable in quality but I guess there is not much to say about what is pre-prepared and pre-proportioned packet or frozen. Level of cooking can be suspect as well leaning more to the overcooked than undercooked fortunately. Good atmosphere in the evenings but does get busy at weekend. Lots of activity to attract clientelle.

certainly not the worst in Sandbach, but a bit soulless...

Was in the toilets earlier and there was to guys picking scabs off each others new back tatoo's. WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nice best tho'!!

Not a bad pub, Bar staff look like they know what there doing most of the time. Beer gardens abit of a walk out of the back (spesh in heels). Foods not badly priced, shame it shuts so early thought!

Not been in for a good few months, butr seems alot better since the last people took it over. Good food but could serve longer (I'm sure they stop serving at 1830 hrs).

Nice pub, and decent beer. Prices are a bit OTT and get the feel they are trying to be a winebar similar to Cursaws? But cannot knock the place. Always seems pretty busy when I've been on a Sat night and never encountered any trouble. Would recommend if anyone was to ask.

Lots better since the refit and management take-over. Seems to attract the decent looking Sandbach women (which there are very few), so always good as a starting point!
