yes - wetherspoons for snobs, at twice the price - and consider this: how bad have things got if you're going to a slug and lettuce to feel 'snobbish'?

Average at best, though at least you can sit outside when the weather's good
Though it's not as awful as the Weatherspoons bar opposite which is to be avoided at all costs.

plastic pub, plastic food, run of the mill drinks and plastic customers. May be it is a Sims pub.

GOD WHY DO THEY STILL KEEP THIS CHAIN BAR GOING?!?!
soul-less and dull as well as overpriced and tasteless food!

My partner and I use this bar nearly every day and how you can say it is expensive is ridiculous, for example a pint of kronenbourg in the Albion is 5 pence more. The food is reasonable quality and is well preseneted and served by VERY friendly informed staff who will serve you all day long and don't expect a tip and gravedigga would you feel sophisticated if the San Miguel was 2.95? amd reynedd perhaps you should go to the Cliftonville across the road!

Words fail me. It's not bad, it's not good, it's not really anything.

A classic example of why branded chain pubs are such a bad thing. Limited choice (especially beer), fake atmosphere, high prices. Not really a pub, but a bar for the hard of thinking
|
a typical chain bar with little originality, a shame really because the location is ok, too over priced drink and food for the service i got

A classic chain pub, and a little on the pricey side as a result. Food looked alright and there's street side seating facilities for that continental touch. Difficult to feel sophisticated when you've paid over 3 for a pint of San Miguel though.
