Royal Arms, Gosportback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Now a care home, but the Brickwoods livery and inn sign and EVERYTHING from when it was a pub is still there(and i mean the outside).

Planning permission has been granted to convert into residential accommodation. Unlikely to ever reopen as a pub

Still up for sale.

Another pub-kill for Admiral, who have delicensed it and put the freehold up for sale. Shame, as I used to like this place for a weekend drink when in Gosport. RIP.

This place was rammed when it re-opened many years ago. Nowadays, it's a lot less busy on a Friday/Saturday night, but I'd say quality triumphed over quantity in that respect.
The beer is okay in terms of price and selection. There's a good pool table, and a nice big seating area out the back. The garden is good in the summertime, and it's a nice short stagger to the bus stop and town centre.
The best thing about the Royal Arms is it's proximity to a number of excellent curry palaces. Well worth making a good night of it.
