Red Lion Hotel, Farehamback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Pleasant old town inn, now a comfortable pub and restaurant with some hotel accommodation. The bar is unpretentious - comfy chairs, some slot machines which don't intrude, machines, a bit shabby in places but otherwise fine. I had a decent (but pricey) glass of Rioja and a fair pint of GK, both enjoyable.
One of the better places in Fareham overall, if what you want is a quiet but ordinary drink. If you happen to be here, or if you're meeting someone, it's fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

More a pub/restaurant/hotel than a nice simple pub. Would have rated it as rather dull without any major failings, but barmaid's response when I complained about the quiz machine swallowing my money was the worst single example of customer service I've ever encountered (and I've lived in Britain my entire life). Generally attracts the office crowd having a drink at lunchtime or early evening - not the sort of place you'd expect to have a riotously good time.

My feelings about this pub are echoed by Jan Coulson nice restaurant but food over priced.

It's a fairly pleasant hotel bar really. Usual range of beers, reasonably quiet and very clean. Taken many a young lady here in my time, you can actually hear each other speak, and you don't have to take a tazer gun to persuade hordes of drooling chavs to bugger off as you work your charms.

Bar area finished to a high standard, but entirely devoid of atmosphere.

An actual hotel, nice inside, quite quiet, one real ale when I visited, TV, fruit machines etc.
