Sad news the place has now closed and will not be reopening as a pub.It had looked of late as if it was on the up but I must have been wrong.
It will be a function venue only. Bah hum bug.

No point in giving it a silly name, and changing this an changing that, you will not get it to be the pub you want it to be until you change the clientele!!

Great pub, just been taken over by new managers. So much going on. Disco every saturday night, quiz night, salsa. Got a cafe out the back and sunday roast. Think ive found my new local!! Used to just walk on by!!!!!!!

Since this has been under new managment, it has improved ALOT! now has a nice Cafe and friendly staff.

SurreyPubMan nail on the head it is an old trad drinkers pub,called in recently and its getting better.

Old fashioned pub and I enjoy it here + the dart board is good and all. Pretty decent ale normally.

Pretty miserable, but good for games - the only place around with a skittle alley, and also has darts and pool.

Just keep on going awful place.

Horrible place! Went straight for the "garden". Very unkempt. Remains of a burnt mattress and a bit of a bonfire in a drum. Like something from under a bridge somewhere.
I'm sure there are locals who love the place but not recommended for a one off visit.

Didnt seem too bad. 40p to play pool, plenty of pool tables round the back. Not too obvious when you go in as it seems like a small pub

Strange pub.... can be fine during the weekdays. The beer is quite good. Sadly, when the weekends rolls around, the regulars disappear and the loud obnoxious youngsters take over! On the outskirts of Godalming could be a fine place sadly, the place needs a lick of paint and it needs to get rid of a few trublemakers.
