This is an Asian all-you-can-eat restaurant called 'So Asia' now.

this pub is gone now. now its a restaurant. . .
|
It is The Puzzle no more and was totally crap - too big & no class nor atmosphere
|
This place has actually worked hard to be as un-atmospheric as possible. Can't comment on the food but the decor is to be desired, the beer is grudginly ok I suppose.
|
Couldn't agree more. Nasty, fake beer and nasty, fake decor. If McDonald's did pubs they'd be like this.

Yes. A puzzle. Why even the thirstiest drunk would even drink beer out of an ashtray in this "designer bar".
Fake fake fake like every other franchised pub.
Death to them all! Grr!!

Not bad, nice bar and looks pretty clean. Service is decent but the food aint! Never packed so a good place to avoid people staepping on your shoes!!
|
awful - absolutely awful. I use to go here alot a few years ago and thought I'd pop back in last Sunday. The food has nose dived and is way below where it used to be (they even got the nachos wrong).
the bar-girl was useless and unhelpful.
Tables weren't cleared and in general the place is now sterile. I won't be going back now with the greater choices of Bars we now have in Acton - The Chatsworth and those on Churchfield road.

Just been to the pub this evening... atmosphere and drinks were good but a few bad points i feel like sharing... * Tapas food was average (at best) * Ladies toilets were completely manky (at best... according to the missus). She asked the barman to get someone to clean them but when she went back they were no better.
I'd go back to watch some sport if it was just the boys (and I was grabbing McDonalds instead of eating their food) but wouldn't take the missus (well she has refused to go back ever so no real choice there).

Nice, bog standard aussie bar. Always a great atmosphere when the Rugby or Footy is on.
Not one to pop into if you're looking for the most oblique european lagers known to man, but a handy place to have.
|
Good beer and decent food although not recommended on a rugby day unless you're a loud antipodean...
|
good for sport, always find a few aussies up for a bit of banter during a match, but like all puzzles too open plan making all convesations public (or maybe I speak too loud!)
|
Hi, can anyone who drinks here let me know by posting a comment or two, what the venue is like for live music? Toad is coming...
|
brilliant pub; really easy going atmosphere. brilliantly cheap drink promos! Cool parties on there too.

Australia Day Stopped serving at 22.10, everyone there was keen to party but managers put a real fizzer on the whole day.
