Went in a bit later than I planned, and during an England World Cup match being shown on a very large screen (with a DJ during half time) so the atmosphere was pretty boisterous. It was tempting to walk straight back out again, but for a Lloyds No. 1 bar it has an impressive range of handpumps and there was certainly nothing wrong with my pint of Titanic 'All Over' (excellent value at �1.60). Not really my sort of place, but it must be ten times better than its previous incarnation as a Litten Tree.

This pub is now a Wetherspoons Lloyds No 1 bar called The Squire Knot. It's been really well refurbished with comfortable seating near the entrance and leather look chairs at the dining tables. Decent range of beer for a Lloyds as well with 2 guests ales alongside the JDW regulars. We were in on a Saturday late afternoon so it probably gets very busy later on. Pretty impressed all round really.

As you can ascertain from the above comments, this pub is full of the kind of nobs who can't even put vowels in words. There is nothing to redeem this plastic, characterless, overpriced hellhole.

the litten tree looks really good now it was minging before and things seem a lot tighter, they refuse scallies and they ID a lot more people, food is still a bit bobbin frozen chips frozen fish and tinned mushy peas for 6.95 ? come on guys ! prices a little high on drinks 3.45 for a blue wkd on saturday nights and then a futher 2.25 for a shot of port to make cheeky vimto??? (in a dirty glass!) music has gone a little better now

DONT CALL Litten Tree there is nothin wrong with it!!!! Yeah people fight but people fight everywhere you go!! How can people say Scruples was better than Litten Tree???!!! Oh no! I LOVE IT!!!! Loads of fine ass lads go in there too!! Yum! :)

iv been going into litten tree for sum time now and i think it used to be great but things av gon down hill recently wots all this playing the danni bear song "oh my god" and nelly the elephant if i wanted kids music id rather stay at home. People who go in every week will no wot i mean x

litten tree has gone shit- they shud stop bein so strict. if your 20 years old, your not gonna take out ID- not expecting to be asked. wen the ask you, and you blatently look 20, it can be quite embarassing. to save the embarassment i will not be going back there again.

i was quite shocked to find a girl on the door this saturday along with the bouncers asking ONLY girls for i.d then even more shocked too watch an under age boy who i know enter whilst myself and my friend who are both the legal age got knocked back by a rather moody girl who quite frankly would have been asked for i.d herself whilst entering.what was even worse was that there were posters on the window stating that only passport and driving license would be accepted when even liquid accept any form of i.d. Out of stubbornness i will not be going in there for quite sometime as i do not want that kind of frosty reception when i could be in a far more friendly atmosphere.i have always liked the litten tree but this has put me off i think for good.

litten tree in oldham is a better night out than many around the country. Oldham is full of hungry clubbers and this is da place to satiffy!! Liquid has gone down hill and now litten tree is where every1 is headin

Hey i think The Litten Tree is brilliant and after going round all the other bars ther is nothing better than heading there at12 its great,good music,friendly staff,great atmosphere and xcellent for pulling blokes.So try it its certainly worth it!!!
