disagree with spongebob. i went and was probably the only white person in there apart from the stupid tarts chasing what looked like literally 'off the boat' types. it isnt my cup of tea personally although i know a few people who seem to go there often. i also know alot of people who say they dont let people in and use the 'members only' chat as a polite way of saying **** off

Not a bad club, but does get very busy at weekends and there are also plenty of sexy girls. Drinks prices are reasonable and a visit to this club is a must

About the only decent club in Southampton that you will definitely get into without student id.

The Rhino Club is OK. Not great. Not bad. It's good because they have all different evenings which appeal to all types of people. It's crap because the bouncers are racist knobs. If they don't like the look of someone then that person is barred for life. I don't think I've ever seen a black or asian person in there. If this club is going to get any better they need to remove the bouncers first and get some friendlier ones.

I really can't see what all the fuss is about, Music was average certaitly nothing to brag about, small dark grungey place, with some brainless pony tailed bouncer on the door knocking some guy half his size about when I was leaving. Avoid if you ask me plenty of good places to go in Southampton this certaintly isnt one of them.

Wednesday night DJ Hammy night. The best night to go. Rock, Alternative, Indie, Britpop, Punk etc.

Disagree with the media student comment but this place comes complete with a great crowd and great atmosphere! Fridays see famous breaks/house artists perform at the 'Limited Edition' night (the likes of the Plump DJ's, Mylo and Slyde ahve been down). Saturdays sees the residants playing an eclectic blend of quality US house.
A damn good choice!

Actually plays decent music. They have some fairly big name DJs in every so often. One of Southampton's better clubs, in my opinion.

really dont understand why this place gets a caning-it's wkd and to reply to the comment that it keeps the media tossers out-well im a media student and we rule the plce-check it out any nite of the week and 90% of the punters are media students-ie the trendy cool set! rhinos rules

sells itself as Southampton's cool nightspot, when really it's just full of a different breed of tosser. Not friendly, and not cool. It's small but not intimate- it's shite.
