This is a nightclub. That said, it has some fantastic live music. Local upcoming outfits as well as touring bands on the make. If you want a flavour of the sort of thing you'll see here go to longliverockandroll.com
It has a strong student following and as such drink specials abound.

Everyone seemed to be very very drunk when I went recently on a Saturday - to the extent of falling over on the 'dance' floor. It must be all that ROCK music! But on the whol ethis place is good; drink is reasonable and entry not too expensive.

I have no idea who these comment autors think they are, but they clearly only like spending like a pound a pint... There are cheap dirinks EVERY night and although it's rather busy some nights with indie/alternative students, the music is fantastic, provided you're not a mainstream tat lover. Worth many a visit

OK. Lennon's is the greatest place to go in Southampton. I'm not being funny, but whilst 99.99% of places play chart music and absolute s*it, Lennon's is the bomb and plays rock, indie, metal and alernative music - enough to make even the least liking chart music monkey cream in delight. Do 'yourself' a favour, if you're in Southampton on a Thursday or Saturday, go to Lennon's on Onslow Road (just take the damn time to find it!) you won't regret it. Plus, I'm likely to be there. Enjoy

Not much of a pub, more like a live music venue. Unless you are going there for the music, would give this place a miss.
Draught beer is expensive, though spirits and bottles were quite reasonable.
The bouncers didn't seem too bad when I visited recently.

This place is a bit hit or miss. Have had some great nights there with the dancefloor packed jumping around to great music, but equally have had some awful nights when either it has been empty or the idiotic bouncers have ruined it.
