My final pub of the day and completing a hat-trick of Antic pubs was this one on Sutton's High Street. It was fairly quiet on my Sunday evening visit. But, finally I had located another real cider. Only the Gidea Park Micropub with its 20 real ciders stocked any cider at all in my previous 8 pubs. So, Lilley's Merry Monkey was well received. Volden Session Ale was accompanied by By The Horns Transatlantic Cowboy & Anarchy Strait Jacket. I've yet to find a really decent pub in Sutton. This is certainly amongst the best 5 in the town.

Different only because it hasn't been refurbished. Not unusual though, with minimum wage staff with little interest.

Trendy section of old department store converted to pub. it's okay though and the ales are decent.

Discovered this place on New Year's Day and it's a gem. I said I'd say it so I will, the staff were excellent and I love the decor in places like this.

last Saturday the cask ales were served much too cold, therefore not much taste.

A typical Antic pub," Shabby Chic". original tile flooring and walls 4 real ales on all at £4.00. Long narrow bar with a raised area at the rear. Plenty of seating and not too crowded at the moment. But once the word gets out it will be.
