Set on the bend of a main road, this pub has a bar area and a separate dining area. It was a bit chilly inside. A family eating in one corner were creating a fair amount of noise and there were a couple of locals in the bar area. There is plenty of seating. The 3 ales were Trelawny, Hophead & 6X, whilst there was no real cider. Another disappointing pub.

Iovely host very respectful and helpful and the food was very generous, the passion this owner put in to a quiet wed dinner time was from the heart. for this she deserves a lot of people stopping off here to sample a spendid meal or tipple.will be going back. Thanks PHILTHOR.

It is a must to visit this pub as I think they possibly have the best chef in Dorset! I also recommend checking out "Toss up Tuesdays" when you get to toss a coin to see if you have to pay for your meal, its brilliant!

Disappointingly bland especially for a country pub. Average beer, average food, average lay out, average people drinking there. All round average. 5/10 naturally
