This is now a 5 Guys burger bar. Was rubbish anyway!

I would hesitate to designate this a boozer. It's more of a trendy wine bar/restaurant. Baroosh is in a great central location in the shopping area of Uxbridge. It has always been busy, whenever I have passed. Finally today I ventured in. Beers are all the fizzy keg variety and all drinks are pricey - 4.10 for a bottle of cider, 1.90 for a small soft drink. I definitely prefer the Three Tuns across the street, as it's more of a traditional pub (or boozer).

decent boozer, comes across as bit pretentious but its not, beer a tad expensive but its a tad classier than some of the boozers around ux.

Really friendly staff and one of the best places for a drink in Uxbridge. A very wide and good range of wines and spirits
|
A little pretentious and over priced but you get a good clientele. Food is very good but again abit pricey.
Staff excellent, once found a tenner in here and saw the best barfight I have ever seen here - three very big guys who were all just seemed to be hitting each other with almighty punches, which didn't overspill to innocent bystannders and they were gonme by the time the bouncers got there. (Although it was a one off for the place)

It was rather spiffing!!

Decent pub that has a Very Good ban on all things football, no games being shown and anyone who turns up wearing a football shirt will not be served!!
Well done to the manager, not everyone is fooled by the great god football!

One of Uxbridges best bars, excellent service, friendly and efficient staff. Although a Bar rather than a pub has a very welcoming atmosphere. Laura the Manageress is highly adept at imbuing all of the staff with energy and good humour.

Last post, Anon, this site is called Beer in the evening, not mussels in the evening.
Its about the beer not the food.
Still got idiot bar staff who are trying to flirt with the females instead of serving.
|
i use to go here all the time i loved the food, but that has change as they changed my fav food mussels in creamy wine. the service has also gone really bad. so i now no longer go there.

As bars go in Uxbridge, definatley the best bar to go to.
Yes it maybe pricey, and yes it might be busy on the friday and saturdays nights. But with the limited options in Uxbridge, you would be foolish not to expect that.
The pub itself is modernly presented, and you get the range of normal high street beers with a few specials but nothing overly exciting.
The Bar has two floors with a bar on each, there is seating on both floors with the majority at the front of the first floor and the back of the second floor.
Definately a good party bar, for office leaving/birthdays etc.. The balcony section and the rear of the top floor can be booked out for nothing, just have to guarantee a certain number of people.
Also think twice about ordering a double as you'll be looking at prices of over a fiver.

This and the Hogsarse down the road must be trying to become the most expensive Bars in the Whole of the country. Ignorant bar staff, previous comments complain about wall-to-wall Chavs, what do you expect in Uxbridge?
|
What a shambles this place has gone down hill since i last visited.
|
OVERPRICED, PRETENTIOUS............... DO I NEED TO SAY ANYMORE????????
|
Baroosh - sponsored by Burberry. 'Nuff said

Nice decor, but filthy dirty, Chaves wall to wall and behind the bar, grub not bad but nothing special.

This bar is really good, good drinks, food and atmosphere. Plus the bar staff are very good and friendly, and quite fit ;) . Bit pricey...but worth it!

Don't think much of this bar, i went in at the weekend for some lunch wit a friend who goes there all the time and had cold beef burger and no interest from the girl when i asked for it to be changed. That was the first time in over a year i have been in and it has gone down hill, sorry, not impressed!

A very nice bar good food, but one does feel that the bar lacks some what in the service department and the up keep of the buliding does need a lot of attention especially with light bulbs & garffiti. but aside from these little problems its a nice place to go at any time.

not as good as staines baroosh, but still quite good.Hertford's former queen, Kylie, is doing a fantastic job compensating for Uxbridge's Andy's inadequacies.
