Not a place where I could imagine having a session but fine for a couple of well-kept midday pints. Staff very pleasant and willing to talk about the brewing process.

A nicely-done refurb of a an old railway sidings shed serving Ludlow Brewery's rather uninspiring range of beers. Bought two of the third of a pint "bats" so we could try all six beers that were available. Thought that the best and the Stairway were the best of the bunch. The beers will appeal to people who like good examples of the different styles on offer, but are nothing out of the ordinary.

Unlike some, it was quite transparent to us that the brewery is now housed in an old railway shed.
Found full range of Ludlow beers, all excellent and at a good price. Superb location with character. Certainly worth seeing!

I’m not quite sure about the name of this place ! CAMRA lists it as the Railway Shed, but the actual building has no marking other than “Ludlow Brewing Co” in large letters. Anyway, it is home to the Lydlow brewery and serves as their brewery tap. The internal decor is pretty minimalist. The bar is straight ahead as you enter – underneath a storage area ! There are lots of bare walls, and a dew seats scattered round. There is more plush seating in an area upstairs to the left, which also serves as a viewing platform for the actual brewery, the mash tuns of which are rear left in the building. It is possible to get tours of the brewing facilities, though I’m not sure if you have to book beforehand.
As might be expected, they have a range of 5/6 of their own beers on tap. I tried the Dark Knight which was very nice.
This place is normally only open during the day, but there are numerous special events for which extensions are given.
7/10 – pretty good, but a bit minimalist for my liking

Heaven is a place on Earth... Well this could be it.
Great setup. Cool visitor centre. Awesome atmosphere. Good ales brewed before your eyes! Pervious post is so right.
This is a must visit, and as we found, convenient if you arrive by train.

One of the best places in Ludlow for a pint or two. Doesn't open in the evenings however. Very handy for the railway station. All the Ludlow brewery beers are available, but of course nothing from other brewers. With the decline of the Church and the Charlton Arms, this and the Feathers Hotel are becoming the best places in town for real ale.

Brewery tap so there are always 5 (or is it 6?) handpulls dispensing top quality ale from the Ludlow Brewing Company. More of a Beer in the Afternoon place (restricted opening hours) but they have quite a few music nights and extended hours during the town's various festivals when it is often busy with visitors travelling by train (railway station is next door). Outside seating area is not that scenic (overlooking a supermarket car park) but you can't have everything. Out on a limb if you're not using the train so possibly overlooked by many.
