a big empty bulding with no one in it

Loving the new pub, great what they have done to it. Went there for a beer and had a great night, excellent bar staff and fantastic service. Not tried the food yet but will definitly be back to give it a go.

I swung by here yesterday lunchtime, as did about 30 students who were tucking into the stone baked pizzas. The front of the pub has high and low tables with couches by the large retractable doors which open the pub up to the busy main road. The back of the pub has a few huge couches and a couple of pool tables which give it a student rec room feel. They show Sky Sports, but there are better places to watch the sport in Hammersmith. The beer garden, which closes at 21:00, is quite small and is overrun by the surrounding bushes.
There is no real ale, but Kirin beer, Erdinger, Guinness, Carlsberg, Strongbow, Stella and Tetley Smoothflow were all available.
I have to agree that the toilets are rank and kick up a nasty smell. It always puts me off eating in an establishment if they cant be bothered to give the customer toilets a quick scrub.

The pub is nice, has pool tables, beer garden and nice big comfy couches. The pizzas are dee-lish and super cheap especially the 2 for 1 on Thursdays.
The bathrooms are the only let down - they are absolutely disgusting.... the smell of urine is almost unbearable and the toilets are always out of toilet paper - its a real shame

This pub has just changed management and we visited on Saturday. Doesn't look as if it's changed much and the interior is a little bit tatty. However, the manager was very friendly and clearly attempting to change the image and ambience of this pub. They have all the equipment for an excellent sports bar so hopefully he'll turn it round.

Nice sofas but too many ballheads on Friday and Saturday nights

Was in here last night. Paul Gascgoine was in there!

Horrible place full of people who have no magnificence in their souls. If Grace and Sezer from Big Brother lived in Chiswick they would drink at The Hart.
|
This bar has a very split personality Quiet and relaxed during the day, hectic and loud on Friday and Saturday evenings. A good and unusual selection of Lagers, including Kirin on draft - which you dont see very often.

Just found this bar a little too up itself to win me over, lets just say if you enjoying drinkinmg in company of say someone off Eastenders it's fine, but then if that's your bag your're a bit sad really
Otherwise okay, but unloveable.

not bad in there but it does take ages to get served, but the music is gd at the weekend and there is enough space to shak out.
|
The sole time I came in here was in the mid-afternoon, I waited with my girlfriend for ten minutes to get served and it wasn't even busy. I may venture in here again in the future, but it will take a lot of convincing.

Nice enough place, two pool tables, large comfortable sofas, 2 big screens showing sport. The pizza's are good, two for one on tuesdays after 5pm too. The staff seem a little dopey sometimes however, me and a friend went to watch the football there before and ordered some pizza's, after an hour and a half they had still not arrived, despite us going back to the bar twice to ask where they were. We eventually got our money back and went elsewhere. It was very busy, but we also saw poeple who had ordered after us eating their pizzas, , so that was a little disappointing. Went again on Sunday, this time it was quiet, again we ordered two pizza's, however we ended up having to go to the bar and picking them up ourselves as the bar staff seemed completely oblivious to the fact there were two pizzas waiting to be taken to the table (and they do provide table serrvice for food) All in all a pleasant place, just be prepared to wait a while for any food you might order!

Back in Sweden now, but The Hart was my favourite bar while living in Chiswick... Missing it... :)

Serves a decent Belgian lager and hurrah; Red Stripe. Otherwise, average.

A cattle market. Go if you like your drinking by numbers. Moonface from Eastenders used to drink there if you're still not convinced. Good for: Don't care to find out

a fine establishment... an excellent night out due mostly to the charming staff

The (White) Hart must have been a pub once but it's now just a trendy bar with expensive foreign beers and no real ale. Threatening notices on the door ('if you are caught using this entrance you will be banned from coming back') don't make the casual drinker feel welcome.
