This is my Fave pub in boro, yeh the bouncers mab be stric but you dont reli want imature 16 year old running around, all the bouncers are lovely and the bar staff are a giggle, me and my friends go here all the time! more than once a week lol i love it! Tiff x

ASC, there is a new nightclub called 'the basement' under walkabout where blaises used to be. Although I havent been in there to check out where it uses all of the old blaises.
Would agree that the bouncers are strict. Wouldn't let me in a couple of years ago because he said my shoes looked like trainers. ID on a regular basis. Cheap pint of tetleys though at �1.65 (at least on a thursday)

Again another boozer I visited before the football. Poor service and bouncers very strict on ID.

As someone mentioned earlier blaises should never have been shutdown for this carbon copy of every other walkabout in the country. Blaises was unique.
They ask everyone for id these days I'm 22 and the bar staff younger than me refused to serve me without id he was younger than me!!!!
Dont drink here go to somewhere with genuine personality, customers with personality and bar staff with half a brain

Walkabout has a great atmosphere for starting a friday or saturday night in

great downsitars for live music and good party tunes ! good priced drinsk and nice atmosphere during the day ! dance section upstairs (surfers bar) is good on saturday nights too and the �3 entry isnt too much ! Cocktail jugs are a bargain too at �7 for two litres !

not expensive, good larger selection, live music, upstairs is great if you need to cool down. Good late licence bar. Hardly ever any trouble.
Ignore racist remarks and take a look for yourself.

they closed the best bar in the north east to open this place. its a nasty, shitty dive. and its overpriced. damn ozzies.

its good on a friday night as they have a live band and its relatively cheap and has a good atmosphere

Musics not much and the Atmosphere is rubish if your not in a group but for bigger groups its a bloody good laugh

for a town centre pub in Middlesbrough, suprisingly few puch ups and drinkable beer. A rare showing of keeping the standard high for a hassle free night
