Excellent friendly local, Busy even on a Monday lunchtime. And why not there is excellent beer from the local brewery and freshly cooked food. Why aren't all pubs like this.

A fabulous pub , in my top ten. Incredible home- brewed beers, great atmosphere, a real traditional pub. I need to go in company so that someone will drag me out!

Visited this pub for a few beers and lunch on a quiet Monday, fantastic a real gem, four cracking beers from the Earl Soham brewery at reasonable prices, great food and a very friendly landlord, we tried the Victoria, Albert,Sir Rogers porter and the Gold all in tip top condition, well worth seeking out.

Very disappointing visit here. Liver and bacon like old boots, loos disgusting. Dogs and kids everywhere.

A PROPER PUB!!! very traditional - good homecooked food very very good prices welcoming and friendly. not many pubs like this one left today! please keep it that way! :)

Surely this is what pubs are supposed to be like, aren't they? Outstanding ales from their own brewery and honest-to-God homecooked food, with no frills and no frilly prices in a non-pretentious, friendly pub. Go there.

What a great pub! You can't beat the combination of an old country pub, superb home-brewed ales and wonderful food.

Funny, every time I try to pass this pub my car seem to develop the stutters & I have to rest awhile

Small (but well positioned) fairly basic victorian village pub which offers excellent food, good company and excellent beers - all from the nearby Earl Soham Brewery. Sould be tried.
