An impressive 13 draught beers on offer when we looked in. Sadly, only had time for one pint and plumped for 'Defiled Mild', which was served up by a very pleasant barmaid and slipped down very well. Can imagine it has a cracking atmosphere when busy.

More of the feel of a shop than a pub and as others have noted, now called the Drayman's Son. Eight beers were marked up on chalk boards and the cheese and meat platters + pork pies etc. are good features. My pint of Mild did, I'm afraid, taste only just the right side of OK but I'll give the landlord the benefit of the doubt as I'm sure I was just unlucky and did manage to drink it all without feeling unwell. Seems to be a good community joint.

Now called the Draymans Son and is an excellent showcase for local micro breweries and farm ciders. A short walk of the station. rather good pork pies and other snack food. Very friendly; deserves to do well.

Very unusual pub, order at the bar and beer brought to your table. Very interesting range of unusual ales. Not sure how the ordering system would cope on a busy night though.

Just managed to nip in for a drink before it was closed for a private party. The ownership was changing hands I understand. Only tried one of the ales which was apparently a local brew called Grumpy Bastard. It was Ok. Like the decor, hope the new owner looks after the place as lovingly as the previous one.

We visited the Liberty Belle twice on our recent trip to Ely. First for a quiet afternoon drink and then again the very same evening for some more of their well-kept beers and some live music.

In a place with mostly faceless pubs with big-name beers the Liberty Belle stood out with a great selection of well kept beers, ales, stouts... from smaller breweries. The Blackberry Porter and Honey Panther come highly recommended!

The pub itself is very cosy with old advertisement signs and projectors along the walls and very friendly service (Thank you Dave for introducing yourself and making us feel especially welcome).
