To confirm, this pub is now a bone fide Tesco, you can tell it used to be a pub just but only if you knew it wasn't a purpose built Tesco.

Not local as I live in Coventry, went past yesterday only to see the front of the pub being pulled down. Really sad state and I take it that it's the end of the road.

Closed and boarded up

Since I reviewed the pub six years ago my opinion of it has changed. The service is now friendly, the pub is cleaner and they have got their act together. Its not brilliant but doesnt deserve the review I gave it on 9 September 2003. I would now give it 6/10 and am saddened to hear it might close as it is the only pub in Lillington and the community need it.

It was open when we passed yesterday...haven't been in for years because it was so dreadful, though it looks like it's been tidied up a bit. Must take a look next time I'm in the area.

This place closed now then??
Used to go with my mum and dad when i was younger as lived on Bentley close, and then went all the time to play pool in 95...always had a good laugh! Xmas 95 was mint, i can remember the whole pub singing Wonderwall!!!
Happy times

Convinced the management are/were on a mission to drive this place into the ground. With no other pubs within a mile, this place could have done well. Heard it and the land have been sold for houses to be built.
The last pub in Lillington could be gone soon. No loss

A true dive of a pub. The only pub in Lillington and quite frankly they are welcome to it. Pathetic service, sticky tables (from beer I presume). Walk the extra mile or so and go to the pubs in Cubbington!
