This is a cracking pub. Very comfortable, clean neat and tidy. In here last Saturday about 1.00pm with some groundhoper mates. Unfortunately we were the only customers which is strange for such a cracking place. There are 6 hand pulls 3 were for Old Forge Brewery Ales & 2 for Half Penny Ales. I tried one of each and both were excellent and cost 2.90 a pint. Easy to see why they are listed in the 2013 Good Beer Guide.

Stopped off last night - 6 beers on, had the Thames Tickler, Ha'penny Ale and Four Seasons, all from the Halfpenny Brewery, good range from light to dark, pork scratchings looked worth a try too. Good atmosphere, open fire and friendly bar staff. Will be back. Thanks Mary for driving...

Clean and cosy pub on the Western outskirts of Faringdon, reopened last year and now the home of the Faringdon Micro brewery. Usually 4 ales are available, 2 of their own and 2 guests. Seems to be quiet during the day althouth open 1200-2300, food looks reasonable, on the Bus route from Swindon to Oxford. Well worth a visit.
