King Charles, Kings Worthyback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Lets start with the good point....the London Pride was spot on, it really was in great condition. Now the bad points, this place is a dump. It's dirty and in need of a lot of money spending on it. The gents loos are disgusting the smell of urine was over powering. AVOID.

Four ales on tap here, and although we got one dodgy pint the lady behind the bar agreed with us and would happily change it. Other ales (Fuller's) of a good quality.

Fantastic pub, Good food, Great Atmosphere!
What more can i say

Huge improvement since the refurb last year. The food side is nicely sorted and beer (Fullers) is good. It's my local and for years we've scratched our heads why more hasn't been made of it, until now. Nice garden with a view over farm fields. The redecoration has altered the inside - much better modern airy feel but still a pub.
We eat here fairly regularly and it's been good. Menu has pub classics like steak (especially good), burger, pies (made by the pub chef - not bought in), but also more refined (skate wings and capers type of things).
The place is big enough to have a "pubby" side and a more restaurant side. If you're there to eat you get waiter service. But it's still a pub at heart.
As I say, it's my local. It's had its ups and downs over the years but right now it's spot on (so far, fingers crossed).

Great little pub serving Fuller's Ales and a good menu using local ingredients - had a fantastic home made pie, my partner had vension fillet that was excellent. Enormous beer garden, lovely views and a really great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the recent refurbishment has made the pub light and airy. Well done King Charles!

Nice location but as we walked in we were hit with the all-pervasive stench of fish cooking in 2 week old oil. THink it's a GK but can't remember as we had to get out of there. Wooden floorboards and 80s style venetian blinds, in a claustrophic two-bar set up. Something of the 80s sticky-nightclub feel about it. Don't do it.
