Still an excellent pub with a mixed clientele although popular with the gay community. 4 well kept cask ales available. Well worth a special visit if you're in Brighton.

Used a Groupon voucher this evening for a 2 course steak meal. Nice pieces of steak, well cooked and with all the trimmings (chips, peas, onion rings, salad etc). Dessert was strawberries and cream. Bar staff were pleasant. Harveys beer available. Recommended!

Nice pub, nice atmosphere and close to the seafront. Sadly food very average

Visited again twice recently. Sadly the food has gone downhill. Both meals we had were not hot enough, even after we returned them. Yesterday at least 4 people returned their plates leaving everything. A shame as meals used to be good. Also prices for beer seem expensive. A great shame.

This really is a gem of a pub.
Can't believe it hasn't a higher rating.
Exceptionally friendly staff, good quality food and really cosy. Will always make a point of visiting when I'm in sunny Brighton.

Shows signs of promise on the beer front...but 2 for a half!

A great pub, visited in September. Decent cask ales, free wifi too.

This is a great addition to the Brighton gay scene. Well decorated, tasteful, clean with very pleasant staff and a good selection of beers and wines. The food is also of good quality. All this and reasonable prices make it one of the best in town. It should be used by other gay venues as a benchmark.
