Very cozy old bar with its own brewery that produced four decent to good beers. The staff were excellent and in almost all respects, this was a well above-average bar though the food was not hugely special (though perfectly OK).

Visited the pub again on sat evening.My wife had a meal from the specials board and i had battered cod.Food and service very good as usual.The home brewed beer complemented the evening.Highly recommended.

Visited this pub this lunchtime on our way back from Lechlade. Asked for a pint of Hazy Days from their onsite brewery. Was given a short measure with about 1cm head, I asked for a topup but was told that it was a lined glass (which it turned out not to be!) The manageress reluctantly topped up the pint and but slammed the pint down on the bar spilling the beer so she had to top it up again so we walked out and left.
Avoid this pub until they sack this stroppy woman.

We heard on oxford radio that the Radnor has won CAMRA central southern pub of the year that means they are in the top 16 pubs in UK.Justley deserved!!

Cracking pub with their own brewery behind the pub. Very tasty beers, cosy pub with lots of old beer memorabilia. Brilliant!

Excellent food.Smashing atmosphere tried all of the Ales made on the premises all in superb quaility.Freindley staff.will be returning

My wife and I stopped I'n here again the other evening for a bite To eat.The food again was excellent and the beer gladly received. We overheard a conversation I'n the bar that they had won the Vale of the White horse pub of the year! We visited their other pub ( The Crown I'nn Lechlade) also has it's own Brewery open fires full of memrobilla Winner of the south Gloucestershire poty 2010.Definatley worth a visit!! Let's hope they get another pub.

My wife and I had a meal here last Sunday.It was a cold day And we hadn't booked.On arrival we were greated by a woodburning stove and roaring open fire.The pub was a hive of activity and we should have booked.The staff were very helpful and after a short While had a table for 2 by the open fire.We both had a 3rd pint Tray of 3 ales made from their own brewery.Anvil Ale.blacksmiths gold & Hammer and Tongs. All of the beers were in perfect condition And very tastey to.Are food arived just after our purchase of 2 more Pints.I had the coarse chicken liver & pork terrine. Followed By Forge beer batterd cod.My wife had the goats cheese and red onion tartlet with lemon and thyme dressing Followed by the pork & cider casserole with saut� potatoes.All of the food was obviously home made and very enjoyable.We were to full for a desert and would have sampled Sampled some more of their Ales if it wasant for driving. The bill came To �35.15 and worth every Penney.We will Definitely be returning next time in a taxi.

Lovely pub! Good selection of real ales (4 as I recall) several brewed on the premises, and a cider brewed in the village. Very decent food, good value for money and good choice for vegetarians. I had a ratatouille in flat mushrooms. I'll certainly be going back.

Its now a proper pub and not a poor mans gastropub as it was before. Brewery now up and running, 2 beers so far, should be available in a couple of weeks.

Is Hodge1 the owner of the pub by any chance? As you can work out from that review, since changing hands the pub's emphasis has moved from food to drink, the previous owners, Richard and Shelley departed in late 2009 to continue their culinary excellence at the Lamb at Buckland. Having visited the Radnors web site which stated that it had changed hands, we were hoping to find it little changed but it's very different. For a start, why is there now a dart board in the dining room? The food is nothing special and feels more like a cafe then a restaurant, my wife had an anaemic John Dory dish and I had a steak which wasn't bad but was curiously served with stilton cheese on top of it. To top it all off we had to endure the potent perfume of the 'chef's' tatooed girlfriend as she leant on the bar just across from our table for most of the evening. There are worse pubs and I am sure the beer is good but this isn't the Radnor Arms it used to be it used to be under Richard and Shelley so don't confuse it.

Fantastic 3 roomed pub situated in the National Trust owned village of Coleshill close to the Wiltshire border 2 miles from Highworth. Now leased by the nearby Halfpenny Brewery 3 to 4 beers are available at any time from handpump or direct from the stillage, 3 or 4 of their own and an occasional guest. Extensive gardens out the back for sunny days, along with an 'Aunt Sally' pitch (a local Oxfordshire pub game), ask at the bar for the equipment to play.
Open all day from 1200 every day, good home cooked traditional British Fayre available lunch time and evenings all made with locally sourced ingredients.
The Old Forge Brewery will be up and running by the end of July here in an outbuilding, with 4 beers named by locals in a recent competition, in short this place is everything you'd want from a proper village pub, something thats so diffecult to find these days....long may it continue!
