Good place to watch the game. I was in last year for Man United - Newcastle and met two guys from Bilbao (where i had been the week before for a game) who had been told this was the place to be to watch their match - probably 8 different matches on in all.

I was in london last week for business and was in west end watching a game of football. I got talking to this man from stokenewington london and as I am a big Celtic fan, he tells me the best place to watch the hoops is Celtic park and the 2nd best place to see it was the yucantan pub in Stokey. I thought he was pulling my leg, but as celtic were playing rangers the next day I said to the man who,s name is Dougie, I will meet you for a beer at the yucantan pub tomorrow. The next day I decided to go and see this place, I could,nt believe it, I walked in and you have to see it to believe, it,s like been at the game, it was friendly and Dougie introduced me to the owners, lovely people Liz, Fintan,Paul and Brian. Fintan is a big hoops fan and loves football, the sound is great and BIG screenes everywere it waqs great. This pub is friendly diverse with all people from all over the world having a great time together and thats the way i like it. Thanks Dougie for bringing me along and the next time I am in london I know what pub to find.

glad to report that the yucatan has its doors open and screens switched on again.

This is shut down at the moment, but I'm hoping its going to re-open soon.

I live opposite this pub and its ace! welcoming staff and barman who really looks after you (a rarity in London and the area) and highly amusing locals. As previously mentioned, it is an excellent place to watch the football with loads of screens and a good atmosphere when big games are on. Its not just a football pub though, 2 pool tables out the back and some quality tunes on the jukebox. Even the Mrs enjoys going!

Excellent, great for the football!

probably the best juke box in the area. good family run pub.

Big pub, Irish run, great if you wanna watch Celtic. Pool only 50p and Kronenberg is cheap to. Pretty local but proper as it were.

Best pub for the football in N London - especially if you're a Celtic fan. There are at least 10 screens/TVs and the atmosphere for European nights is fantastic. You get a good mix of people in here, it must be one of the most cosmopolitan pubs around.

When Celtic are playing it's like being in a pub in Glasgow. Hoops and Glaswegian accents everywhere. It's a great atmosphere when the football is on. I'd only ever go there to watch footy though, as it can feel a bit seedy otherwise.

Couple of pool tables, and friendly locals (who I gave a good drubbing), but unfortunately no brews on.
