Kings Head Hotel, Hovetonback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
A large, rambling pub in the centre of the village which is obviously geared up to cater for the tourist trade. It also seems to be geared to RIP OFF tourists. £6.05 for a pint of Woodforde's Nelson's Revenge (4.5% abv) and a J20 is way OTT, specially when the beer less than top quality. It was drinkable, but I have had much better pints elsewhere.

Sign outside advertising 5 Real Ales. Only 2 on sale however, Woodfordes and Doom Bar. Not a beer drinkers venue.

Called in today with a friend for a pint, and a couple of excellent real ales were on sale so opted for a pint of each totalling £6.35. The young barmaid needs to learn how to smile and the gents are long overdue for a lick of emulsion, apart from that everything was ok.

Large pub on the river at Wroxham/Hoveton, good pint of Wherry, looked like it was kitted out for the tourist trade in the Summer when I would imagine its packed, quiet in the Winter though, nice to see the xmas decprations had been taken down!

Large pub, with accommodation.
As well as extensive bar areas, there is a large garden outside, right on the riverside, so one can sit under a sun umbrella and watch people messing about in boats, a bit away from the summer crowds thronging Wroxham bridge and its immediate vicinity
A good selection of cask ales were available, and I'd have happily sampled a few more if my train had not been due from Wroxham station (about 500 yards).

In here on our last night of a Broads holiday and found it a place to have a drink. No frills but beer was good and reasonably priced.
