Another establishment that thinks they are in Mayfair rather than Acton - A fiver (near enough) for a pint of iffy Kronenbourg in a backstreet pub in Acton ? Nothing about the place justifies what they charge.

Dreadful!! I have visited this pub on numerous occasions and I have to say the service has got worse each time which is probally due to a high staff turnover and the lack of british staff not being racist means you cant have the same level of banter which you get in most other pubs. The food is ok when it comes it hot which is rarely, the beer is mediocre at best and the prices are a bit optimistic. The manager who i believe is called Claudio?? Is downright rude to both customers and staff alike which is probally the reason for the high turnover of staff and lack of consistency. The place has potential but at the moment it has no identity, Is it a british pub or is it a continental bar?? Im not sure even the owners know the answer to that. All I can say is until they work out what they want this place is best avoided.

Much improved from The Churchfield. The decor is smart and cosy and the large outdoor area is becoming more established. It is a lovely place for children and families in the day/early evening. Friendly locals and lots of evening events - free live music second Tues of every month. Good selection of beers and wine, plus the food is reasonably priced and tasty - though the cheese board was a little old, they replaced it right away when we complained.

Went in on a Tuesday night. Good little crowd in there. Some eating what looked to be lovely tapas. Doom Bar was a good pint as was the American Steam bitter. Very pleasant music and good atmosphere in there. Will definitely go back.

hmmm, i also live in the area and again have to disagree! I decided to take some friends there the other night and wish I hadnt bothered! the food wasnt great, the service was non existent and it was embarassing having to excuse a pub which 'i thought was great'! much better options for next time, sorry to say Tracy, her partner and their team are not delivering!

Hmm, I would have to entirely disagree. Having drunk here for many years (!!!! ;-) it has gone through a few changes, namely the ownership. I think Tracey the new landlady and her partner has really made an effort with the place, smartening up the interior and courtyard (new additions include two deckchairs to soak up the sun!), the food is lovely, and it seems to be buzzing these days. Last Friday they had a BBQ on the go and they're just starting a cider festival and there's been plenty of other events which it seriously lacked before.

Typical gastro-pub decor, average food, lacks atmosphere with uninspired, unfriendly staff and management. I would recommend the other pubs in the area which are friendlier and do much better food!

Quirky decor, great range of interesting beers & very friendly service. Serves traditional Italian pizzas & tapas as well as tasty contemporary pub food. Lovely terrace for sunny afternoons.
