Tiger Inn, Beverleyback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The Tiger Inn was very quiet when we first stepped in on Saturday evening. We were the first diners. But it soon filled up with both drinkers and diners. The former are catered for in a bar at the front, with the latter accommodated in a side room the other side of the corridor. The corridor itself has a serving hatch to the bar. The ale choice was a little disappointing - Golden Sheep, Hobgoblin & Landlord. Rosie's Pig was the cider. Old Rosie was advertised everywhere. But I couldn't see any. We enjoyed a well-priced meal, with friendly service. The pub has a nice location too.

A short walk from the centre and you come to the very homely Tiger Inn which was a Camra pub of the year runner up in 2013.
Sunday is carvery day so the eating area was packed, when we arrived at 6pm food was still being served, the roasts looked really good.
A few couples in the front bar, the bar is wooden & painted black and white with a solid wooden top. The 5 hand pumps had 3 ales which were Sharps Atlantic, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Rooster's Yankee, 2 real ciders available both from Weston’s, Old Rosie and Rosie's Pig. I opted for a pint of Landlord.
The television was on mute and they had music playing at a very acceptable level, not sure if it was a cd or the radio.
Another pub where we stayed for just one drink, good service, nice atmosphere, well kept ale, the Tiger is a decent pub that's worth the short walk from the centre of town.

Stops doing food at 2pm and the beer selection was at best unimaginative and at worst boring. I encountered so many small producers in Yorkshire producing fantastic beers a pub like this could niche themselves with local beers to go with their local food.

Great good value food using local producers. Unfortunately the beers are national with nothing local. Could be good if there was a switch to some local brews.

In t'other day and they had Timoth Taylor ' Landlord' on.....well kept and a truly wonde rful drop!

Went during last summer ['11]. Sat in the small bar - a slight hint of "There's a stranger in town", when I walked in but maybe that's just me. Friendly enough locals in the end. Staff OK. Forgotten what I had - bitter - but it was lovely.
