Woolpack, Burgess Hillback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Last here a week ago on a rare sunny lunchtime. Several bitters, but I can never resist Strongbow if the sun is out. Large pub, never seen it full, but I only get here during the week. They are trying to do their best.

Lovely pub, really nice decor, nice beers BUT what a miserable bunch!, landlady needs either replacing or at the least some facial physiotherapy so she can raise a smile!. Food great but VERY slow to arrive even when pub is quiet

Seems like a nice place but i think the landlady should learn to smile you never know she might like it!!

Great father's day pub, dad got a free drink of his choice. Lovely beer garden but more importantly child and dog friendly. I have been informed the food is quite expensive as are the drinks (see other customer reviews). Only down side is that the lighting is very dark inside the pub, mainly by the bar area, even on a bright and sunny summers day other wise well worth a visit.

A really nice setting as befits the ladies bar billiards team which plays from here.

Went to the Woolpack on Sunday for their Jazz night with Adrian Cox. Had a fantastic evening, great music and great food. The Staff were very friendly and attentive and this was reflected in the fact that there was standing room only. I can highly recommend going here for live music and reasonably priced food, cooked well.

lovely settings, odd atmosphere though, we've been a few times and taken the kids as they have a small playground and duck pond which is great, had lunch too which was nice pretty average though, very over priced, was gobsmacked when I left my card behind the bar and me and my partner had 5 drinks each after work and it was nearly 60 quid! go around the corner at the weald would have cost more around the 20 mark!

A substantial, and very tasty menu, delightful ambience and fantastic service combine to make this one of my very favourite pubs.
Throw in a glorious beer garden, complete with quaint duckpond, and you're on to a real winner with the Woolpack

Big, grim, empty, nasty. It's in the wrong place. Feels like a Wetherspoons, sad, can't be easy to keep it open with those costs.
