What an odd place. Looks alright on the outside, pretty swish but get inside and it's drab city. Clearly bored barmaid poring tired old lager into a stained glass. Yeah not entirely thrilling I can tell you.
Food wasn't on, ale wasn't on, bogs were advertising some film from Jan '08 and it was filled with Arsenal fans watching a bore draw against Spurs. **Wow that's probably the most boring sentance anyone has written in the history of humanity**
I don't say this often but this place is a dog. Not in the same way as the Spreadeagle down the road but in a tired, last legs, can't be arsed way.
Leave it guys, leave it.
Thumbs Up, London Calling.

It was empty in here on Saturday afternoon which may have had something to do with the pub showing the Setanta football sports feed on the projector rather than Englands first six nations match. Im not sure whose bright idea that was as most pubs in the area were heaving.
I found the barmaid to be very nice, but 3.80 for a pint of Staropramen is a bit excessive. There is an ale pump, but it was off during my visit.
There is also a dartboard around the back, but I dont think that Ill ever be playing on it as I doubt Ill bother with this place again.

Only a small pub but I love it. Friendly bar staff, big screen TV for sport, good food and Black Sheep on tap. Well worth dropping in for a couple of pints and a chat, maybe play a few board games or just to read the papers. Some Friday and Saturday nights it gets booked out for private parties as it's the perfect size. Good Quiz on Thursday nights. (I sound like I work there but really just live too close).

This is a gorgeous little place. With comfy sofas, candles on tables and the fire lit its very cosy in the evenings.
Owner and manager are always friendly and some very amusing regulars!! Have often found myself losing several hours here on a lazy afternoon. Will definately be back :)

Just started food with different meals each night. Place seems to lack comfort for general day time drinking. not very big but its ok, can see it feeling intermate when busy. wish the pub was a bit more cosy and inviting. only been in a few times usally when going to friends in area.

This is an old picture of the pub - it looks brill after the refurb - well done to the New Management!

THEE place to be in Wandsworth! Weekday evenings are cool, chilled out and relaxed and more to the point has a distnct feeling of being home from home! Weekends, well, you'll have to see for yourselves - the DJs are brilliant (and flexible), the staff are friendly, and the crowd is great! The only downside is that you will more than likely find it extremely difficult to want to leave!

looking good after refurb. good vibes. one to watch.....

Closed for refurb, new owners might be going for gentryfication! good word.

Great pub if you're a smoker, not so great if you're a drinker: bit of a typical range of drinks. Bit cramped but nice enough

Come on guys, give this pub a chance. The new mangement are trying their best with this place. It has friendly locals, great crub and the beer is good. You are also not blasted out by music. It also has one of the best Quiz nights in South London every thursday night. So give it a try and support your independent Local.

This place has seriously gone down hill in the last couple of years. Its now full of chav scum glued to the football, the food is processed crap, the owner can not even store his Lager, it is so smokey you most like walk out with lung cancer and the place is falling down. Come on, whats happened to the lovely food wht used to be served in Mitch's day? and wht was the logic briging in TVs? Isnt there enough pubs in the area with football on? Its a shame but I wont be going there again. Its more for the Pikies and oldies of Wandsworth now.

Used to be an excellent pub with good beer and food. Sadly new management has seen it fall badly downhill. Now rivals the Rose and Crown for smokiest pub in SW18

under new management, Mitch has left. no longer a great pub

This is a very small pub with a central bar. Beer is good and because it is not a Young's pub those of you that need a break from Special or waggledance can sup something different in here. Next door to the Brewer's arms which makes it ideal for a 2 pub shuffle.

A free house in Wandsworth, so if you are not a huge fan of Youngs, this is the one for you. Comfy sofas, good beer and food. Often has art on show/for sale around the walls.
