Great wee bar with a very friendly landlady and with a superb range of malt whisky- probably close to a hundred different bottles. A very good way of pricing them too - with coloured circles on the bottle and a pricing list on the wall. The highest price range just says "make sure you're sitting down and I'll come and tell you!" Usual range of draught beer, but Cairngorm beer in bottles.

The name of this pub drew us in as did the many malts we knew would be on offer (one of our party is a whisky buff!). Not a posh pub but a cosy, clean and comfy pub. Greeted by the very helpful and amiable owner who gave us great recommendations for not only whisky but for Scottish gins too. Little nibbles were made available and we passed a lovely hour or so on 2 occasions over the weekend. Unlike other contributers to this site, no complaints about the pint plus we were more than delighted to chat to 'Mad Malt Mandy' - she made our day!!

Excellent wee friendly bar, the pints are far the best on draught in Crieff very refreshing taste. The landlady is very welcoming and the bar has a large selection of malt whiskys 50 in total so far with more to come and a menu to go along. The toasties are great and overall a nice relaxing atmosphere, plus a darts board if you like to throw a few and ghost story nights on first Tuesday of the month. Good times!!

Here's one my father would have called a "couthy wee howff". A diabolical name but a small friendly bar with the usual range of draught beers, well kept. No real ale on draught unfortunately but a good selection of bottled beers from the Cairngorm Brewery. A treasure trove for spirit drinkers too. A really interesting selection of vodkas, rums and so on and of course, a terrific selection of malts; a lot I'd never seen before. So I don't know what "Fishingman's" beef is? If you don't want to talk, stay at home an drink lager!

On holiday in the lovely town of Crieff. My wife and i went into the curly coo bar . What can we say about this bar.i asume the pint sized owner Mandy just does not get much trtade fom locals as there was no one else in at 5.30pm on a friday evening .the draught beer was awfull and we were not left alone for a minute with her constant questions a most terible expierance.

My husband and I recently went on tour of part of Scotland and sampled some the the Scottish hospitality. On a particulary chilly afternoon we stumbled into the Curly Coo in Crieff and what a treasure. Mine host was pintsized Mandy, who made us both feel very welcome. For a small bar she had a sizeable range of malts - my husband was in seventh heaven. She also did a tasty toastie. If you are passing, drop it, you will find it well worth a visit
