Nicely done up with a good range of beers, the food looked good too, but we didn't eat. Deceptively spacious on the inside as it extends back through to the garden.

Been done up a treat. Traditional bar with shinny pumps. Nothing to dislike about this place. Crisp and fresh inside and the patrons were a mix of thirties and forties professionals having Sunday lunch. Staff on the money too. Will return.

Don't normally do pub food but went for the roast beef on Sunday afternoon. Never had better, massive pieces meat but oh so tender. Can't wait to go back and try the roast lamb next time.

Decent, well-kept ale - although a tad pricey. Great beer garden at the rear and well worth a visit.

Newly refurb'd 2012. Now a fantastic neighbourhood boozer with friendly knowledgeable staff. On tap is a mix of the Fullers range with others such as Doombar and Czech Pilsner. Impressive range of bottled beer and the wine list is spot on.
Out back the dining area has had a full makeover with some excellent gastro-y meals available but pretty reasonable prices. The fish n chips is rapidly becoming legendary.
All in all a welcome addition to the area and attracting a great mix of local punters.

Nice old school back street boozer full of character and a nice garden. Blond landlady is a lovely woman who is polite and helpful

another one bites the dust.

Freehold for sale, vacant possession...flats anyone? sadly

Very impressive range of pool/darts trophies. No real ale on my visit

Decent and warm pub, nice and quiet, but has a pool table. 8/10

A pleasant, wood panelled interior helps greatly in this slightly tired looking boozer. The main attraction is the beer garden which is just lovely and which backs onto a main train line - rather thrilling to be yards away from a high speed train hurtling through East London
