We used to make this pub our first port of call on our way into town following a couple of hours in the nearby Rileys, however, after this weekends performance by the door staff this will no longer be the case.
A group of us travelled about 40 miles for a night out in Lincoln, and were dipped off at the Falcon. The door staff proceeded to advise us that as a group of 11 we were not welcome, bearing in mind that this is the first pub of the night at 8pm. As a result of this we moved into town and had a couple of drinks elsewhere. 4 of us then returned to the Falcon only to be refused again, to which my response was "do you mind if I ask why", to which the door staff replied that we looked half cut and in no uncertain terms should take our custom elsewhere. This is exactly what we did as not to ruin our night out.
The pub itself tends to get quite busy, and drinks are quite reasonable, again, only tarred by door staff spoiling for a fight.
If your face fits there is a good chance you will enjoy this venue with it's ample, sheltered outdoor area. I for one will not be returning.

I don't know whether I like the new falcon "trebles for singles", my mate got spiked in there a couple of weeks ago, this can't be helped tho people are doing it all over, surely they can't keep doing trebles, for singles, though, its deadly!!

Re-opened as a trendier watering hole, fantastic special offers and introduced me to the gorgeous but deadly triple vodka vimtos. Great garden out back and friendly bar staff.

Good food, good beer and your fair share of interesting events...as once mentioned by a member of staff: Thsi is a playground!

They do great baguettes! Everyone should go for a friendly atmosphere and to meet new friends. Open mic night and gigs there are the best too!!

The best/only place in lincoln with good music i.e. punk, metal, rock or ska. plus a cracking atmosphere with literally crazy staff. gud fun!

Well a long time student, biker fav. It has seen its fair share of wild nights over the years. By not strawing too far from its routes, James' promotion from within and the lack of viable 'alternative' alternatives make it the one of the best places in Lincoln for a beer, some music and a good laugh.
