Now named The old coaching inn, a superb transformation, l love brixham but the cask ale in most pubs leaves a lot to be desired. Not here a good selection of well kept ales served straight from the cask, always an enjoyable visit,so much so we've decided to come down for new year, oh...friendly staff complete the picture +++++

Revisited a couple of months back. The place has been totally transformed and the newly renovated "Roly's bar is very smart and atmospheric. Nice selection of beers (Sharps wolf rock is fantastic!).
I really hope this place can make a go of it. It's position is in the main shopping street in Brixham and could be useful as a halfway stop gap on a pub crawl. But once you're in you will find it hard to leave!
I wish the owner well who we spoke to for quite a while and was a decent chap.

Walked past yesterday. Place looks like it has been converted into apartments. Now renamed 'The old coaching inn apartments'
Still plenty of pubs in Brixham to go round though.

This is very sad news indeed, I stayed in Brixham a few years ago and this was mt favourite pub, a few local characters two courage beers and a guest or two, a garden cut into the cliff and a relaxed olde worlde feel, I hope any closure is only temporary.

Closed down.

Apparently this pub is up for auction next week.

This pub is rapidly becoming the haunt of the local fisherman. Apparently this is a result of the closure of the Rising Sun pub. Becuse of its location this pub should be full of tourists but which family would go into this place when there are these foul mouthed fisherman in there who get absolutely smashed out of their heads and have no idea how to behave in a public place. They are an embarrassment to the town of Brixham.
