Think this is now called the one twenty bar: just bought a house in the area with the girlfriend and therefore checking out the local public houses old chap. popped in there after shopping for a swift pint of cooking and a fruit based drink for the lady.marvellous.nice outdoor area plenty of space to sit and wonder at the gene pool that slithers past. paulaner a nice pilsner hit the spot and had nuggets of vitamin zyxlon b(proper pork scratchings)availble on the bar.nice!.very small inside but room not to have to listen about "mad frankie" and eddie richardsons favourite brand of pliers disscussed in ones lug hole.normally a 7 out of ten gaff but reduced to a 4/1o after being ignored at the bar by a ladymember of the bar staff slurping her drink and ignoring me despite no one waiting to be served before leaping into action ninja style when a local approached.a bit "league of gentlemen"i thought.also the man from peru seemed to be alive and thriving judging by the frequent visits to the loo's in couples!.one for the kenny noyes of the world.

Fake tans, fake jewellery, general fakes, doughnuts for brains, dreadful place. It is just dire.

Really fun atmosphere good music to dance to nice volume loud but you can still have a convo. Decors good, the fact that u have to dress nice is good who wants to see badly dressed people on a night out other than a tramp. Dont believe the bad reviews they're probably written by people who don't get out much and don't like fun! The only negatives is the size its a bit small and the prices arent exactly what id call cheap but hey its a good bar and u get served really quickly which makes a change from most places

Beleive all the bad reviews here; a REALLY bad bar.

Without a doubt the worst place to drink in Waltham Forest. Full of complete idiots.
Avoid this place like the plague.

Poor Shaun E4. A "good crack"...? I didn't think it was a gay bar? By the way, that phrase is sometimes confused with the Gaelic expression "a good craic" meaning "have a good time"...

This place is so laughably bad. Okay first a few plus points, the decor isn't bad, the beer is generally ice cold. Doormen who think that they are working the door of the greatest bar in history hahahahaha and a clientele that are so up their own coke addled arses it is unreal. I'd hoped that places like this no longer existed sadly I was wrong

In principle, its quite a nice bar. Sadly, its populated by pretentious nobodys with delusions of grandeur that think the world begins and ends in Chingford.

I agree with sheldon meadows comments. This place is for Essex boys & girls, unlike Shaun's comments. It is not a East London bar, far from it. it's 100% Essex, i think that says it all!!!.

Yeah, definitely has pretensions; nice looking bar, though. The door policy means the men there are just well dressed thugs rather than betracksuited refugees from Willingale's. Smart dress doesn't mean smart punters Mr Falco.

I have read the comments you have on the website from people who have been. I own the pub and would like somone to visit from beerintheevening.com Then you can make your own mind up. It is a very trendy, and friendly bar with good atosphere. over 21s smart dress only

A bit ponsy, tries to pretend it's not in Chingford which is probably a good thing. Not the most comfortable place on earth. And all the good looking women Dave mentioned have a usually ugly boyfriend.
