To my uneducated eye, it looks a bit like a 1920s hotel inside although it is clearly a much older building. Greene King IPA, Doom Bar and Harvey's Best were on sale last weekend although I opted for a foreign lager because of the hot weather. Plenty of room and not overrun with diners although we were there too briefly to form much of an opinion of the place.

After a day and night out in Hastings this was our last pub & last drink of the day, around 11.30pm.
Fairly empty when we arrived, but the music was playing from the juke box and a couple of the TV’s were on the oppsosite side of the bar where the 2 pool tables are.
I was pretty tired and had all but done with beer for the day so I opted for a pint of Strongbow, nothing to complain about with a pint of this fizzy cider.
Several bar staff on that were kicking back and relaxing. Nice enough pub but it was late & empty so not much to judge on.
Seems a nice enough pub though.

Generally a good pub with good food, decent bitter and nice staff. Bit of a locals/regulars contingent but always worth visit.

Ok locals pub. Not particularly welcoming and beer is overpriced.

Not a bad place at all. Good food & the ale is kept & served well. I do pop into here a few times during the year. If you are in the area, call in

Large pub with some attractive features inside, although it doesn't look much from the outside. Busy on a Saturday night with both diners and drinkers. A good mix of ages with a slightly separate area for younger drinkers and louder music. Friendly staff and Harveys Best and Ringwood Fortyniner on tap.

Large, welcoming pub with friendly staff. Good choice of beer with Harveys, Ringwood and Courage on when I visited. The Harveys was very good.

As a regular of the Bo-Peep formany years I dont know of another pub in Hastings/St.leonards that i would rather use. Great staff, Great beer, Great food and most of all great customers. Everybody is always made to feel welcome and at home. Keep up the good work Bo-Peep!!

I have known this pub for at least 20 years, the last 7 of which as a 3 times a week regular. Good beer at reasonable prices, lovely food by 2 good chefs, as is proved by the number of repeat bookings. The staff are friendly & warm hearted. No matter what time of day you go in, there are always customers, who always give them a warm welcome. I do not know of a better pub in the area.

I have been using this pub for over a year. It is without doubt one of the best pubs in Hastings. The staff always have a smile and a greeting to everyone who enters. I have read the other reviews on this site about the Bopeep. I do not agree with a most of them The food is excellent and I eat there most weeks. The beer is the best in the town. I would not travel 5 miles to a pub that was not up to a good standard. Go have a look and see. I highly recommend the Bopeep....

Tried this pub as it was the nearest to the B&B. Its a large place and yes it can be a bit rowdy with people shouting to each other instead of just talking but this was due to the music playing. The meals seem to be reasonable priced but I didn't taste any as I had a good meal at next door's Chinese.
They had 3 real ales on, Speckled hen, Harveys Best and Courage best. Prices were fair, 4.70 for a pint of Harveys and half a Foster's.

Beer was OK, some of the customers a little on the rowdy side, but never-the-less didn't see much trouble in there. Visited this house twice, and both times the food was absolutely atrocious. First visit I had some salmon, that was still frozen in the middle, and second visit I had a steak that took all my strength to cut! Feel a little stupid about going back there the second time, but if they changed the chef, perhaps I'd try it again.

I had the steak and ale pie....nice enough. Not a bad pub to spend the afternoon watching the rugby, been in a lot worse.

Nice Beer, crap pool tables, and dart board. Awful looking food, staff friendly enough, told me the pub was named after the nursery rhyme that was written by a bloke who lived nearby about the smuggling trade, sheep being barrels of brandy!
