Had our xmas party here on wednesday.

never again!

We were told that if we were any later than 7.30 we wouldnt be allowed in even though we had pre-booked our places.

So arrived at 7.15. Handed over our confirmation printout of the email to one of the bar staff. he dissapeared and never returned. so we just walked up to the table area and were told by a lady at the kiosk where to sit.

We sat down and ordered bottles of white and red wine and beer. A whole hour passed and nothing was brought to our table so one of our directors went to ask and they came back with him with some wine. Warm, cheap white wine though.

So the director went up again and came back himself with proper chilled wine in ice buckets. He was doing their job!

About 1 hour and a half past before our dinner arrived which wasnt very good quality as was the dessert which seemed very dry.

Also at all the other places we have been to we have had Christmas crackers on the tables too, well not at the boardwalk.

I also asked one of the staff for the list of what we ordered I just got a im too busy to help you. What happened to customer care??

The tables were very close to each other too and left barely any room to sit comfortably, the toilets too were very messy with no hand dryers just a pile of hand tells on the side.

So, impolite staff, badly managed, poor seating arrangement, understaffed too but no excuse for the rudeness, poor food and so on.

Highly NOT recommended!

gah! this place was awful, within 10 pces of walking in we regretted our decision to come anywhere near this place. if we'd been on an urban ninja mission we would have been found out immediately by the loud crackling of the crisps and nuts and crap that inhabited the floor. drinks were too expensive and lazily prepared by 'too kool 4 skool' type bar stewards. stepping out of this place into the rain was the most enjoyable thing that happened in the 15 minutes we were in there.

don't go.

I recently spent a night out with friends at The Boardwalk and to me i found it to be one of the hidden gems of Soho. From a excellent range of cocktails to the young and friendly bar staff. I ended up staying a lot longer than I intended to. I will defiently will be back.

Reasonable food, warmer would be nice. Cheapish happy hour. Dreadful staff but as they are learning from the worst management team I have every come across then maybe this is to be expected. Perhaps a manager with better customer service skills, a little older than Dougie Howser and the ability to motivate his staff at least to the point of smiling at customers would help bring the punters back! Very poor toilet area. Dance area very small. It is safe to say that the general opinion of a larger party of 15 people (myself included) is that this is a pub/restaurant that we will never be going to again.

Great happy hour, decent enough inexpensive food, weekday evenings it's dead by 9.00pm as people tend to take advantage of the happy hour and then move on - there's so much to choose from in Greek Street.

Fine - especially during happy hour, but not really that special to stay on afterwards. All drinks half price, coctails 3, bottles of wine etc half price, all bar snacks 3, so a cheap way to set up the evening. Annoying toilet attendant though, in ladies AND gents.

Great bar - especially during Happy hour - 5-7pm weekdays, food for 3.00 and half price bottles of pretty decent wine: i'm happy. The staff aren't super friendly and the service can be a little random (millions of staff walking about aimlessly but no-one actually serving you) but as an after-work-drink place its great. Nice atmosphere, LOADS of room so there's always somewhere to sit. Definately reccommend it, no-one too snobby or vile in there either.

nice place. good cocktails. cosey room in basement, unless occupied by loud Aussies. A balcony Bar. can get quite busy but never seen it rammed. Door Staff were ok.

Not a bad bar. In the centre of Soho and quite 'cosy', it's got a dancefloor downstairs. Can get farily crowded but if you fancy blowing a bit of cash on some cocktails and having a dance til 1 or 2, then this is the right place. Can be heaving with fit blart at times too. Considering its location (ie London), people are actually quite friendly too.
