They are making an effort and it is more of a pub than the more vaunted Coach & Horses but the pint of Loxley was never more than drinkable. Would give it another try when in the vicinity.

Been in again, lovely pub. The Dronfield Arms is becoming a regular haunt. Firendly staff, choice of 6 beers, I had Saltaire Cascade which was excellent. Did not eat but saw other doing so and the food looked great. I will return.

Long one bar pub in retro 1970s look with lots of mirrors and polished floors. Beer (the 2 mild) very unpleasant. But perhaps not a surprise as everybody was drinking wine or larger. The Three Tuns (not yet on Beer on the Evening) about five minutes walk further down Chesterfield Road is a much better place with excellent beer and food - so go there

This pus has now re-opened, it has been refurbished and re-named the Dronfield Arms and offers 6 cask ales plus home cooked food. The beer selection is great. Great to see a pub re-open for a change, good luck to them!
