Under new ownership and recently refurbished, I think we're paying for that though as my Wadworths Horizon was £4.40, a bit steep even if getting into the tourist season. Opening hours appear to have been extended as I was able to get a pint just before the last train (22.29) on a previous visit I was served with bad grace.

Sadly this Pub does not open until 5pm Monday to Friday so were unable to have a Lunchtime Drink after we got off the Train. (Nearest Pub in Station Approach). However we went back around 7pm and apart from one other punter and Two Bar staff were the only ones there on a Weds Night!. This is a Wadsworth Pub and had Harveys IPA or 6X available. Plumped for the Harveys which was very nice. Nice seating area/Garden at the rear. Worth a retun visit for the Beer alone

Good pub which has plenty going on. A hotel, sky sports, decent Wadworth ales, friendly staff and a town centre location. A decent boozer.

Doesn't open Bank Holiday lunchtimes.

Good Honest Boozer, Excellent Wadworths beers and friendly conversation from barman and locals

The most welcoming pub in Lymington when we visied for the BH weekend. I would say quiet but with a couple of exceptions was busier than almost everywhere else. Friendly, good service and decent pint of Waddys

Tip-top Wadworth ales (three of them on my visits) and handy for Lymington Town station. Friendly welcome.

tried it again latley, good local if your within staggering distance. Odd seating with a 3pc suite and tables? Bit quiet which is nice when your in the mood.
|
The only boozer in Lymington where you can sit down, have a decent pint and a afg and not get pestered. It is the pub to go to if you "want to be alone"
|
Very handy as the first (or last) pub) for a crawl from Lymington Station
