This dive appears to be home to Ealing's drug dealers from the white powder that I have seen in the toilets

my beloved local best bar in ealing by far and whats better you get to finish the night off with a gorgeous kebab from next door

Strange little place this one. Small but welcoming. Good for a few pints before hitting the bright lights of Ealing or before seeing a match at the Theatre of Dreams that is Griffin Park.

Right last pub on the pub crawl, not a bad pub to finish......but it was dead so it was on the bus and back to the shanakee for another tasty pint of guinness before catching the tube.

I stand by my comments about the brilliant characters in here. Shame though that on Friday one of them wanted a row with me because he assumed I was "old bill" because I'd popped in on the way back from a funeral in a dark suit and an overcoat. So don't overdress whatever you do.

This is a very handy little bar for when we change from the 65 to the E3. We've been here a few times now and apart from one time where a chavvy family looked like kicking off with each other, it's always been fine and friendly, if a little quiet. The last time we popped in on a Saturday night, there was about 6 people here. Still the Irish barman and nice barmaid chatted to us.

Small Irish boozer, great staff, mostly great punters - apart from some of the more tanked up locals who should be avoided if you're just looking for a quiet pint.

Brilliant. Populated by some hilarious local characters who'll have you laughing along in no time. I've even had strangers buy me a pint just 'cos I happen to be there. Love it!

From a distance you would think that this was still a caf, but youd be very much mistaken. Enter and youll find a very friendly barmaid/landlady serving up Stella, Fosters, Carlsberg, Carlsberg Export, Strongbow, J. Smiths Extra Smooth and of course Guinness.
There is an area available for seating outside and the bar itself is the size of a large living room. Ive not seen a living room with 3 screens showing Sky and Setanta before though.
Im not that keen on pubs/bars playing commercial radio stations through their speakers as I find the talking and adverts a little irritating. Im not too bothered with the radio though as I would probably only head here if a game was on as the Paddy Power across the road makes for a great sport viewing location.

This is a nice little boozer for working men like myself, and we have a nice time. Dorren the stripper always does us proud and we love her. Thanks a Million!! aj
