This bar saved my potentially disastrous bday. After having been told by another bar down the road that there was a mix up and I actually didn’t have a reserved area for me and my 20 friends and that they couldn’t do anything about it, please come another time! I nearly lost the plot and decided to call it a night. But, having walked round the block a few times to calm down, we stumbled across The Peacock and had such a good night. They managed to sort an area for us last minute, a round of free shots as it was my bday and had almost lost the will to live and were the friendliest I’ve ever come across. DJ was brilliant playing fun 80’s and the punters were really up for it. A huge thanks for saving the night. I shall be writing a not so nice review about the other bar.

This place is crazy but fun. Where else in London have you seen a DJ in a pulpit!? Came here for my friends bday drinks on a Saturday night. Had a great time dancing to the DJ playing 80's. We had our reserved area for the whole night which is good as this was place was sooo sooo busy. But we didn't care about sitting down in the end as we were on the dance floor all night. Great staff who make delicious cocktails, fun crowd and good venue. Kisses

The Peacock has definitely become my fav bar in Clapham. I ended up popping in there on a Friday night with a mate on my way home about a year ago and have kept going back since. I prefer Fridays as Saturdays have much more party groups and hens but on both nights there's always a DJ playing stuff you can really dance too [80's, 90's good current stuff] and people up for having a laugh. Plus the security guy is lovely which is rare! He always asks how I am and seems to actually care about treating customers well. Big thumbs up.

A very big thank you to the staff and management at Peacock Bar for their A Hollywood Romance Valentine Dinner and Dance. It was a wonderful evening for my wife and I as well as I think everyone else. Not only was the food and entertainment excellent it was all the little touches and surprises which made the evening stand out for us. Personalised name plates, impromptu cocktail lessons, the surprise appearance of Elvis and romantic cheek to cheek dancing at the finale kept us literally enthralled all night.
We will be recommending Peacock Bar to all our friends.

ps ...and will be coming down for the launch of "Sunday Lunch, Afternoon Cream Tea and An Evening with Sinatra" - which sounds like it will be the best place for Sunday Lunch in Battersea /Clapham

Don't EVER EVER EVER go here. Terrible service, food ordered on the menu not what arrives (we went for traditional Turkey Christmas Dinner and it was served with mincemeat and mushrooms on top...) and the staff were rude (possibly drunk/high). Avoid at all costs.
