Went there two weeks ago. Very attentive bar staff and interesting décor. No real ales but the Guiness was good. Handy to include on any pub crawl round town.

A fairly anonymous little pub tucked up a fairly anonymous little street. Once again, only John Smith's Smooth (2.70) out of a fairly anonymous range of beers. As a pub crawling tourist I shouldn't expect every place to be a marvellous architectural surprise with extrovert bar staff & witty repartee but too many are fairly anonymous. No doubt it has regulars & joyful bantering throngs, but none during my visit.

Average Liverpool city centre pub, tucked away up a back street, but very close to Liverpool One shopping centre. Has two unused handpulls. But the drinks selection was Tetleys Smooth Flow & Dark Mild, Guinness, John Smiths Extra Smooth, Worthingtons Creamflow, Carling, Fosters, Stella, Coors Light & Strongbow. A few were in to watch the football. There is a separate room at the rear for diners. Nothing special.

Expensive and unispiring for a back street city centre pub!

Ashamed to say, as a local - never actually went in here until a couple of months ago. Nothing special, locals and staff friendly enough, though it gets rammed to capacity of Thursday / Friday evening with office workers and workmen.

Busy single room pub on two levels between Hanover St and Liverpool One. Two, sadly unused, handpumps and a conventional selection of kegs. Dcor is traditional brown pub with nice enough repro fittings. There are the inevitable large screen TVs and old local pictures with some framed money of all nations. The customers are a mixed bunch but tend towards lively middle aged men.
