Closed. Now yet another Indian Restaurant!

We called in at lunchtime last week, had some superb ham sandwiches and salad accompanied by freshly made hot chips - there's a luxury not normally found in this part of the world ! However, it was noticeable that the smoking ban is tightening its pecuniary grip on their lunchtime trade. Sad really as this pub may be small in scale but it's always had huge character and high quality. 8/10

Wow - the food here is excellent.

Fantastic home cooked food (inc. homemade bread and real chips which are fab). Well-kept ale, chilled atmosphere where you can either sit at the bar and put the world to rights or help yourself to a book and tuck yourself away in a corner. Modern interior but cosy, especially in the evening when the candles are lit. I would highly recommend visiting!

Best pub food in West Sussex. Not cheap but worth more than you pay.

Friendly staff, comfortable leather sofas, widescreenTV showing sports, the best potatoe skins in the area, a large beer garden and for those with a big appetite a daily carvery.

A traditional cosy pub from the outside, an array of original and different design ideas on the inside. The food has to be experienced and is far from disappointing. Definetly not for driving by!!
