Excellent Beer Emporium ! What a change- new managers since dec2015 and a wide choice of really top notch beers. This has to be one of the top beer pubs for miles around!

What a difference a year makes. After a tasteful makeover and refit, Liam and Silvie have transformed this pub. The beer is kept in excellent condition with service to match. Probably the best pub in Aylesbury Vale

A nice pub, excellent beer and a lovely landlord but it is in desperate need of a refurb and the less said about the toilets the better

Desperately in need of a full refurbishment. Good selection of beer, poor wine menu. It could be lovely but is simply tatty and dirty. Has a beer garden which again could be improved.

Good selection of local beers, I had excellent pints from XT and Vale. It was very quiet when I was there, a weekday lunchtime, but the owners were friendly and clearly have plans to take the pub forward. They weren't doing food but were quite happy for us to buy some rolls from the (very good) bakery nearby and eat them in the pub. I look forward to coming to this excellent pub again.

A couple of beers on, Loddon Wilfred's Mild & Jenning's Old Tom, not bad pints. The place is in need of a refurb, lots of builders, painters, decorators when I was there & the Landlord (I assume) talking to one of them about the pub, so a refurb may well be on the cards. 10 minute brisk walk from the station & on the 280 bus route.

I'd be happy with this as a local - friendly family feel

Under new management. The juke box has gone with the pool table to follow. There are kids running riot around the bar area until late into the evening and the garden is now equipped with kids toys and a bouncy castle. This all part of the transformation into a family friendly eating establishment. Great if you like kids but not so good if you want a drink and a game of pool

Good locals pub about 10 minute walk form the station (the first pub you come to). Had Vale beers on and a uest from the Nottinghma Brewery called Legend. The Legend was okay if a little cloying the Vale VPA was far better. Not a bad pub - not exceptional and not a dive, anm average kind of pub with a reasonable pint.
