Good music and great cocktails, shame the women are not up to much.

I really like Bosco Lounge. It is exactly what Surbiton needs..... variety. Smart interior and cocktails. Not for the chunky jumper crew.

A truly hideous place. Went there a few weeks ago on a Friday night; average age of the punters was about 16. unbearably loud, crowded, and everyone to a man (or boy) was unpleasantly drunk out of their tiny minds. A few leering old men prowling round as well. I will never, EVER set foot in the place again.

Was in this place last weekend. Pushy rude children ordering drinks being served by letching muppets serving only the under age girls first.
Disgraceful.
Too cool for school or a pretencious (expensive) sh*thole?

I've been going to Bosco ever since it opened and through all its phases. Recently it's been bought out and while it's a great thing they are serving food again, they're now playing the most awful music. I'm talking Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 and Footloose! We were told they play a 'mellow music mix whilst food is being served' and then it apparently changes later... it's such a shame as the bar works so well for drinks after work and if the music wasn't so dire, we'd have stuck around a lot longer (and maybe even ordered some food)

Where does daveb975 drink, Claridges? I asked for a pint of bitter and was informed that they only sell bottled bitter. Fair enough I thought and was shown a bottle of Abbotts Ale. "How much is that then Barman?" I enquired. He checked on the till and stated 4.05!!!! I Left!! Enough said?

Nice place inside and the smoking patio is nice but the service was so slow, the table service which they insisted we have after 25 minutes and a lot of chasing we finally got our drinks, also quite expensive. People seem ok and the chavs haven't decended there yet to ruin it.

A good array of drinks and spirits, but normally very slow service, the table service can be laughably slow. Very popular with commuters and suits directly off the train, I'll let you make up your own mind as to whether that's a good or bad thing...
Nice smoking patio in the summer and overall it's a a welcome difference to the other pub in the area.

This is a something different in Surbiton. Bascially a hotel bar, but most of the clientele are just locals.
Good food menu and drink selection and the prices are, if anything, below average for the area. Gets very busy on the weekend.
The only problem is that you have to walk past the awaful Wetherspoons and St Marks Tavern to get there from the town centre!
