I have visited this venue on a number of occasions always found the staff to be friendly and cheerful the frontline staff Ish & Mark are also very polite drinks prices reasonable for a chain pub toilets adequate only criticism I have is that the music played by the DJ ( who is very good ) is to loud you have a real job to hear & engage in a conversation with someone sitting next to you

Visited on a busy afternoon. A modern place and lots of folks eating. We found it ok for service, we had not been in here before. Beers seemed ok and toilets were clean. Nice drinking area at the front on a traffic free street. Worth a visit. Didnt see any alcho types in this one. Prices 1-99 for real ales, cant be bad!

I don't think this place is bad. Bar staff are generally (with the odd exception) okay, beer tends to be in reasonable enough condition, I've never seen any trouble in there or anything.
The other Wetherspoons in Banbury is probably a bit better, but this place is fine for a cheap pint.

OK so its Saturday morning not Friday night but still quite busy with breakfasts being served. No problem geting served at all. Also guest ales which are usualy 2.25 are going for 1.55 a pint. A bargain!!

We went for a pint in another pub while they poured out drinks!!!

Part of the Wetherspoons chain. The bar staff here are so slow its unbelievable. This place has a reputation for this and its getting rather a joke locally that you need to get to the bar about an hour before you get served!!! And thats just on a Monday afternoon! My advice is to go somewhere else where they are quicker behind the bar. We've walked out of this place several times and loads of other have as well...the manager needs to get this place sorted!

If they could serve anyslower in here id be most suprised very poor,no such thing as a quick pint in this one!

Went in this lunchtime for a swift pint, won't be going back any time soon. I ordered a pint of Titanic Iceberg that was the worst pint in living memory. The barstaff seemed a little baffled by a handpump and probably gave me a mixture of stale beer and cleaning fluid, I am still trying to get rid off the terrible taste.

So six months on and its about what i expected, beer quality average at best and served without the merest hint of a smile or gratitude. I suppose you pays your money and takes your choice.

As has been said before evenings can be LOUD....however if you choose your seat wisely you can find a SLIGHTLY quiter corner....good pint of Pedigree the Saturday I went in....used the place for a lunh meeting a few days later and it was much quieter ....food standard Weatherspoons fare......slight quirk ..the barstaff on each occasion I went in always took payment BEFORE dispensing your drinks

Loud and brash Spoons, you can hardly hear yourself think on a Friday night. Pretty standard range of ales so far, no interesting guests and kept and served in the usual Spoons manner. Useful pub for the kids and serves the purpose of keeping them on Broad Street. Not great but needed.

Typical Wetherspoons in decor, although clean at the moment, only because its only been open a week or so. If i am honest i am not a fan of Jdw however some are better than others and the jury is out on how well run this place will be. Five or six ales on, nothing particularly inspiring but to be fair the Hooky bitter was reasonable. Time will tell with this one, hence no mark yet.
