Looks quite unassuming, along a row of terraced houses on the outskirts of town.
It is a delight.
GBG 2019 entry - a taphouse for the near by Bollington Brewing Co. I went for a pale ale, White Nancy, having just walked there. It was superb. Took a couple of bottles home to try.
Food on a sunday lunch looked and sounded superb.
Great pub.

The Bollington Brewery may not be to everyone's taste but personally I was happy with their beers. The Vale is quite an upmarket place serving good Thai curries among other things.

An excellent place to stop for lunch when taking the family on the Middleham Way cycling. Good home cooked food and a beer brewed on site by the Bollington Brewery. Beers are of a high standard and off sales can be purchased at the bar.

High quality - they love real ale so much here that they brew their own and sell it! Was at a beer fest August BH - great selection of beer - a great place - a must visit if you are in 'Boli'

Cracking little pub in a Bollington side street. It's a single room - wider than it is deep - with a nice slate bar tucked away in the back right corner. The room is stone with wooden furniture and a nice warm laid back atmosphere.
Beer is mainly from the local Bollington brewery - Bollington Best. Bollington Nights, Oat Mill Stout, White Nancy and Dark Ale on offer when I was in. There is a locally brewed Czech style lager - called Muravka I think and a couple of guests (Yorks and Hedgehopper). I tried the Muravka,Best and White Nancy which were very good and others I was with enjoyed the stout. I don't think these beers are served outside a small number of pubs in the Macclesfield/Bollington area but you can buy reasonably priced take-outs.
The food here is also excellent - the steak I had was very nice and the chips superb.
Can really recommend this place if you happen to be in the area.

Single roomed pub just off the main road through Bollington. 5 Real ales on offer last weekend. 2 from their own Bollington Brewery and three guests. Between us all 5 beers were tried and all were well kept and on form. Food is well priced and the homemade Lamb pie and real chips was lovely. Staff friendly. Great pub that will definately be re-visted.

A fine pub in a nice location of terraced houses on the road north out of Bollington. As noted it is handy for the canal and also the Middlewood Way walking trail from Marple to Macclesfield. The beer garden is detached from the pub, about 50yds up the road beneath some trees. As noted there is a good selection of ales, and the menu looked good too although i didn't eat anything. The place itself is cosy, with low ceilings etc, although the layout is open-plan and modern. Newspapers and magazines to peruse with your pint.
