Closed and ceased trading.
Planning permission to convert pub into a house and for additional houses to be built on the beer garden/car park granted by local authority and now up for auction as a building plot.
Times up for this pub.

New owners taken over, at last. Its now been completely decorated, no musty smell anymore. Clean and tidy a pleasure walking in. The new owners are friendly and cheerful, always ready to have a laugh and a joke. Cant wait for the kitchen to open, we will then have somewhere decent to eat locally. Getting busier all the time, good luck to Alison & Ray, keep up the good work.

Cosy little pub but found the landlord/landlady quite rude it seemed a chore for them to serve customers. Very quiet no background music which gave the feeling of being in a morgue. needs some atmosphere and a clean up then it would be lovely. very expensive

Acceptable little pub serving Adnams beers and with a handy beer garden in the summer. Garden is closed in the winter, and children are not welcome in the bar.

Ok pub, good for a nice pint and to watch the football in .. not overcrowded in the evenings.

OK during the week, best avoided at weekends

Would'nt come here on a Friday or Saturday night due to a few to many local chavs filling the place up but other than that a really lovely pub, warm & cosy, friendly bar staff, juke box and small smoking area. Great for a couple of afternoon drinks, worth a visit if in the area!

A very cosy, traditional pub with Jukebox (on quite low), pool table and fruit machine. Has a feel almost like walking into your front living room.
It hasn't changed for many, many years. Always friendly with a good selection of beer. Nothing exceptional about the pub but one you can count on for a decent pint which is quiet enough to have a conversation.
