Typical Tameside pub with good pubby atmosphere early evening, good prices, and a Millstone beer that improved as I drunk it. Very handy for the station, and a good accompaniment to the Britannia.

Great pub. No food. Good beer at reasonable prices. Always real ales on which are always top notch. Recommended.

Great real ales. Well kept and poured. Landlady and landlord exceptionally friendly who can't do enough for their customers. Highly recommended.

This pub has improved immeasurably. Still no food but now sells 2 real ales with, apparently, another one to come. Beer very well kept and a very friendly atmosphere. A pub really trying to be welcoming.

Bloody brilliant compared to the Britannia. It actually has an atmosphere.

Had Spitfire on when we nipped in - a 'human' place...loud trance as well...thought it was ok.
|
Bloody terrible compared to the Britannia. No ale, smelly toilets, bad atmosphere.
