Now just called The Clock Tower. No real ale.

Stamfordian has pretty much nailed it - no ale, TVs on every room/wall and your average Kyle-ites as clientele. There is a clock in the tower that plays a tune which is about the highlight of a visit to this place.

Now re-branded as "Last Orders at the Clocktower" for some reason. Still looks the same, and I doubt the new name will improve the rating.

No real ale, cheap lagers, racing on the telly and so patronised chiefly by people I don't want to drink with. At least I tried it, but won't be visiting again.

If you're looking for a pub with good craic, good atmosphere etc then this ISN'T the pub for you. Dive!
It is okay if you're half cut and want somewhere cheap and cheerful to finish the night off however.
|
Cheap and cheerful pub with customers to match. Always a scrum of smokers at the front door. No real beer and no real atmosphere. Went once but won't be returning.

If ever the RAF are looking for a bomb-range,then this is their man.

If you want cheap beer (dont expect any real ale) its the place to go but other than that its Awful!!! Having said that the Last Orders does serve a purpose! With its prices being just that little bit cheaper it keeps most of the undesirables out of Weatherspoons next door!
