A lovely pub; warm and friendly. A good pint of Cocker Hoop. I'll be back!

A unique place - a pub situated in the local churchyard. Full of character, with several small, traditionally furnished rooms inside. Outside there's an attractive garden, and it was very pleasant to sit supping the excellent Banks's beer in the shadow of the church . Only been here twice, but I'm inclined to echo Tancredi in saying 'I love this place'.

one of the best pubs in the country, keep it out secret.....

One of the most expensive pubs, anywhere!!

Oh, I love this place.

Classic village pub, reputedly the only one in the UK on consecrated ground (its in a chuchyard!) Multi room layout, a smoke room, lounge & snug, all different in character... the 4 ales on were Banks's mild & bitter, plus 2 guests from the Banks's stable, the 2 we tried were very good. Food from a no-nonsense menu lookled good too... handy for the M5 (junction 6)... well worth a visit
