Cheesey-tastic. Good place to get fuelled up. Bit studenty, but good drinks offers on

Can't say anything about this pub as I didn't go in, but as the last review was nearly four years ago I thought I'd post this to confirm that it's still open.

I have to say, i totally love the Globe. Granded the music is cheesy and most of the people in it are normally just out of nappies but it has a great atmosphere and the best bar staff in the world. Its good for a random night out during the week and on a saturday night its great craic.
The best thing about the Globe tho i have to say is Stephen...the ultra lush barman. He rocks.

Certainly not u id be lucky if i got through a nite at the globe n only a song twice. If there r 5djs in the club im sure u can all pitch in and buy some different music.why do all "5" of u play the same music every nite u r open.Normal bars have different music 4 different nites of the week. Its the same music all the time every time.

There are 5 DJs in The Globe, and I certainly never play a song more than twice in the night, and I only play it a second time if loads of people are requesting it! Wonder which one you heard....?

are you mental? ok the globe is ok for a drink every now and then but the music is very loud and the clientele a tad young during the week. a great place if u like short skirts and drunk first years! However the food they do is very good and very reasonably priced, with a free pint to. Recommended during the day and for sport - steer clear in the evening if you like a mature crowd or sense of class.

PS. Between being the Club Bar and the Globe, this establishment was known as The Elms.

I'm one of the DJs at the Globe - in fact it doesn't have one karaoke night - it currently has 7! Karaoke generally goes on for around an hour each night and there is a prize for the best singer each night with a weekly final of the winners from each night on a Sunday.
You'll find a good range of music every night of the week as a disco accompanies the karaoke.

Trendy pub very close to Queen's University.
Very lively pub with many varied activities includinga Karaoki night that has been featured on the John Daly show.
